COVID-19 Safety and Preventive Measures and Social Norms: How It Shaped Airlines Passengers’ Trustworthiness

In the era of COVID-19, travel decisions are influenced by social norms, which is a deciding factor between one’s perception risk and their intention. Moreover, serious safety measures, such as increased aircraft cleaning, distancing during boarding process, use face masks critical factors that influence passengers’ trust in air travel. This study examines direct effects preventive measures norms on travelling with airlines. A total 210 responses were obtained online. Multiple regression analysis was used to test hypotheses. Based result, most influential predictors trust, followed measures. Furthermore, suggests media coverage circle can be elements transferring information passengers, influencing decision, instill pandemic. Notably, apart from exercising airline industry also needs focus consisting staff practices towards passenger new standard operating procedures (SOPs) COVID-19 The findings assist understanding post-pandemic behaviour. implementation health security protocols at airports, supported provision continuous information, indeed an important feature for passengers.
